Next, we will explore the Ari tribe village and market before heading to Key Afer market, the largest in the Omo Valley, held every Thursday. This vibrant market is a gathering place for the Tsemai, Hamer, and Bena tribes, a lively atmosphere welcoming to tourists. We will continue to Turmi, passing through small villages and interacting with the friendly Hamer tribespeople. At around 5:00 PM, we will take a short walk to the Hamer village to observe daily activities. The Hamer women are known for their distinctive attire and jewelry, while the men often wear feathers and dark green blankets. In the evening, you will have the opportunity to witness traditional Hamer night dancing, known as Evangadi. Depending on local schedules, we may also attend a Hamer bull jumping ceremony during the afternoon. Overnight: Paradise Lodge in Turmi.
