Those on tour will enjoy a Guided Museum Tour by a knowledgeable docent in the Richard & Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum! Visitors will experience exciting information and walk through the permanent 'Places' exhibit, the 1916 Courtroom, and the 'Stories of Rescue' September to June and the Grand Exhibit, 'Wish You Were Here: Tourism in the Palm Beaches November 16 to June 28.
Guests need to make their way to the 2nd floor of the Courthouse to check in for their Guided Museum Tour.
The Historical Society of Palm Beach County (HSPBC) is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and sharing the region’s rich history and cultural heritage. Founded in 1937, the Society maintains a vast archive with over four million photographic images, maps, newspapers, and more, documenting Palm Beach County's diverse history. The Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum, established in 2008, showcases this extensive collection, spanning at least 12,000 years of local and regional history. The Society’s educational programs in schools and communities foster an appreciation for local history among youth, ensuring that the stories of the past continue to inform and inspire future generations.
