Explore the wonders of the ancient Roman city of Baia, the Roman city where luxury was the standard, which today is partly submerged due to the strong volcanic activity of the Phlegraean Fields, the geological area where we find ourselves.
The phenomenon called bradyseism has slowly brought down the level of the earth over the years, so today the Roman villas that stood in front of the sea are about 4 meters underwater and the sea has preserved them wonderfully.
Whether you are an experienced diver or a beginner, you will have the chance to admire an ancient Roman city just five meters deep.
Our highly qualified staff will welcome you and accompany you throughout the experience.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We are waiting for you at our Diving Center, a few steps from the Temple of Venus, at the entrance of the Bay Pier. You will surely find us easily, as you will see the PADI flags flying.
What to expect
Our staff is waiting for you to accompany you in a unique and unforgettable experience, through myths, history, archaeology, many bubbles and lots of fun.
Once you arrive at the Diving Center (about an hour before the start of the dive) our instructors will provide you with all the necessary equipment, you will have a pre-dive briefing, along with a brief introduction to the sunken city of Baia and the specific sites you will visit.
Once ready we will head to the embarkation point, a few steps from the Center, to reach the Submerged Park of Baia in less than 5 minutes of navigation.
The duration of each dive is approximately 45 minutes, as we will have an hour on the buoy of each dive site.
At the end of the two dives we will return to the Diving Center, where you can freely use showers and changing rooms.
The minimum certification required is the Junior Open Water Diver or Scuba Diver, if you are not yet a diver you may want to visit the Archaeological Park in Snorkeling (from the surface), or take a look at the Discover Scuba Diving program.
