Have you ever dreamed of being able to breathe underwater? This is your chance to do it, among the wonders of Sunken Bay!

You will fly weightlessly immersed in another world, the marine one, within the walls of an ancient Roman city today populated by fish and lots of marine life.

Baia was loved by Roman emperors and senators, luxury was the rule, and among the remains there are statues, colorful mosaics, thermal complexes and all the ancient structures now submerged for the phenomenon of bradyseism in the Phlegraean Fields.

You will have an instructor who will follow you by the hand for the duration of the experience, and who will guarantee you to fully enjoy every second underwater in complete safety and with lots of fun.

You will discover a new world of sea, archaeology, wonderful marine life, new friendships and lots of fun!

You will visit one of the routes provided by the Park, and if you have a particular preference on which one you would like to visit, you can let us know in advance and we will do our best to schedule it!

We are waiting for you at our Diving Center, a few steps from the Temple of Venus, at the entrance to the Bay Pier. You will surely find us easily, as you will see the PADI flags flying.

What to expect

Explore the wonders of the ancient Roman city of Baia, the Roman city where luxury was the norm, today partly submerged due to the strong volcanic activity of the Phlegraean Fields.
As soon as you decide to start, you will be given a form to assess whether or not you need a medical certificate and a short online lesson that will get you started on the basics. Once you arrive at our Diving Center, you will participate in a short theoretical lesson held by our instructors, so you will know everything you need to safely dive and enjoy every second of your dive!
We will provide you with all the necessary equipment and, once ready, we will go by boat to the Archaeological Park of Baia, where we will admire ancient mosaics, statues, marble floors and all the ancient structures of the Roman city of Baia and, of course, the marine life that populates it today! We will visit two different dive sites in two separate, but consecutive dives. Your instructors will always be by your side, holding your hand, to offer you the best possible support and help and to guarantee you an unforgettable experience!
