On this tour your driver IS your guide - a licensed Singapore tourist guide who drives you between the icons and walks with you at every stop, sharing real local stories. Start at 1pm (perfect after a long flight), then Merlion Park, Chinatown and the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, a hawker lunch at Maxwell Food Centre, Little India and Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple, Kampong Glam and Sultan Mosque, Gardens by the Bay at golden hour, satay dinner at Lau Pa Sat and the free Spectra light show at Marina Bay. 3Maxwell Food Centre
Late lunch at one of Singapore's best-loved hawker centres, a short walk from Chinatown. Your guide walks you through the stalls, explains the dishes and helps you order - from Hainanese chicken rice to char kway teow and fresh sugarcane juice. Meals are at your own expense so you can eat exactly what you like.

4Little India
Dive into the colours, spices and temples of Singapore's Indian district. Step inside Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple, one of the city's oldest and most striking Hindu temples, then walk past the garland stalls, spice traders and gold shops along Serangoon Road. Your licensed guide explains the traditions behind what you see and points you to the best teh tarik on the street.

5Sultan Mosque
Finish in Kampong Glam, Singapore's Malay-Arab quarter. Admire the golden domes of Sultan Mosque, wander Bussorah Street's shophouses, and browse the fabric shops and street art of nearby Haji Lane - one of Singapore's most photographed streets.

6Gardens by the Bay
Arrive in the late afternoon, when the light is at its best. Walk beneath the towering Supertrees at Singapore's famous futuristic garden - your driver-guide parks close by and walks the Supertree Grove with you, explaining how these vertical gardens work and where the best photo angles are. If you wish to visit the Cloud Forest or Flower Dome, your guide can help you buy tickets on the spot (entrance fees not included).

7Marina Bay Sands
The grand finale. First an early dinner of satay grilled over charcoal at nearby Lau Pa Sat's famous satay street, under the skyscrapers of the financial district (food at your own expense). Then your driver-guide brings you to the Marina Bay waterfront for the free Spectra light-and-water show in front of Marina Bay Sands - the city skyline lit up at night is the photo everyone takes home. Drop-off at your hotel afterwards.
