    Meet your personal tour guide, a trained 4WD specialist, and climb aboard your custom-built four-wheel drive vehicle. Your guide is also a certified member of the Mount Batur Guides Association, so expect great stories about the history of the area and fascinating information about the landscape features, all with a great sense of humor. You’re in good hands on this off-road adventure. Watch the sunrise from the Mount Batur sunrise drop-off area, with views of the lake and sunrise point for an unforgettable journey as you explore Mount Batur. The second stop is the 1964 volcanic lava flow. How did that happen? Your tour guide has the answers. As your guide navigates the four-wheel drive vehicle through the lava fields to get there, you’ll watch local farmers working in their small fields and vegetable gardens. Surrounded by the world-famous black lava formations and take in the incredible views of the active volcano in the distance. Great photo opportunities await you.
