What to expect
Congratulations on considering this adventure! Here’s a brief overview:
Marrakech to Imlil: You’ll be picked up from Marrakech at 8:00 AM and arrive in Imlil by 9:30 AM where your guide, which is usually me or one of my brothers, will meet you.
Imlil to Refuge: (1700m) Hike past the last Berber village after having a look on imlil waterfall which is a wonderful thing to start the day with, enjoy views the Atlas Mountains surrounding you, and have lunch in Chamharouch, a small village you will reach approximately by 11 PM, or continue to the refuge (3,200m), arriving between 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM depending on your Rythm.
Refuge to Summit: Start hiking at 4:00 AM, experiencing hiking at night while enjoying star-gazing before sunrise. Reaching the summit of North Africa will be a memorable achievement with stunning views and a sense of accomplishment.
Summit to Marrakech: After the descent, enjoy tea at the refuge before heading back to Marrakech. Expect a deep sleep and a fulfilling adventure. By morning, you’ll be glad you joined us.
