Visit Nicaragua with the security and comfort of a private tour for your group in a comfortable and pleasant minivan with air conditioning, equipped with all the corresponding security measures. On a day trip from Costa Rica to Nicaragua for the first time, you will see highlights from the south of the country. In addition, you can take a boat trip, go shopping and observe wildlife, all in one day.
You will be picked up promptly from your hotel at 5am and taken to the border, where your guide will assist you at each crossing point, which takes approximately 30 minutes. The guide will facilitate the process and handle all passport and visa procedures. From here, we will travel to enjoy a good breakfast and start the day.
We will visit the Mirador de Catarina, the Craft Market of Masaya, the Museum of the Volcano Park, the Cathedral Immaculate Conception of Mary and, finally, the Islets of Nicaragua, and then return to the starting point.

You will be picked up from your hotel on time and taken to the border where your guide will assist you at each crossing step, which takes approximately 30 minutes. 2Mirador de Catarina
Here you can enjoy an incredible view over the crater of the dormant volcano, Granada and Lake Nicaragua. You will be allowed to walk freely for a while before getting back on the bus and heading to the next stop.

4Museo del Parque Volcan De Masaya
Visiting an inactive volcano in Nicaragua allows you to experience the tranquility and natural beauty that volcanic activity left in its wake. As you walk along the trails, you will discover landscapes marked by ancient eruptions, such as craters full of vegetation, now home to diverse species of flora and fauna. In some cases, the crater has been transformed into a lake of crystal clear waters, surrounded by leafy vegetation that contrasts with the Visitors can observe unique geological formations such as petrified lava flows, lava-formed caves and volcanic ash fields that create a lunar landscape. 5Catedral de Managua Inmaculada Concepcion
An ancient colonial town near Lake Nicaragua. Make a stop at the Church of La Merced, considered one of the most beautiful buildings in Granada. It is flanked by a large tower that houses the church bells. You'll go upstairs and get to the roof of the church. From here, you will have a panoramic view of the city of Granada, the volcano and Lake Nicaragua with the islets. This is the perfect place to take pictures of the beautiful city and the surrounding area.

6Las Isletas
Your last stop is an hour-long boat ride on Lake Nicaragua to see the islets of Nicaragua at sunset. Your guide will stop at Monkey Island, which consists only of monkeys who will go out and take food from your guide in the boat! Then you will return to Costa Rica, stopping on the way to pick up some snacks for the trip back home.
