We will pick you up in this location. Travelers do have an option to enter their preferred locations that is within 10 KM radius of Swissotel Quito. We will ensure that we will provide you a safe and enjoyable pick ups.

After 40 miles drive enjoy a walk in the Cloudforest, nice trails that lead to waterfalls; you can choose according to your Interests. This is a biodiverse region on the western Ecuadorian Andes. See the most representative flora including bromeliads and orchids.

At 5.500 feet is placed the Reserve Cotingas. It is at the moment the best place to see Hummingbirds on the western Andes, you will see the most colorful ones. Their metallic colors you will see so close because they land on your hands. Other tropical birds like tanagers, or barbets.

4Mariposas de Mindo
Just 2.5 miles from Mindo we will visit the Butterfly Garden where we will see in real life all the metamorphosis process that the butterflies have. You have a chance to see butterflies landing on your hand or body. The road is less busy, a good place to see birds like tanagers and toucan.
