We will visit the Great Pyramid of the Sun and our accredited guide will tell you all about this pyramid. Who it is dedicated to, how long it was built, what is inside the pyramid, what it is inspired by and what the archaeologists found.
We will visit the pyramid of the moon, and our guide will explain the differences between it and the pyramid of the sun, who the pyramid is dedicated to, how high it is, what the archaeologists found, how long it was built and what inspired the Teotihuacans.
We will visit the third pyramid called the pyramid of the feathered serpent, our accredited guide will tell you the amazing story of the tunnel found under this pyramid, interesting facts about the place where it is located, who it is dedicated to, and explain the details that decorate the pyramid.
We will walk along the Avenue of the dead, while our accredited guide tells you all about the city of Teotihuacan, when it was founded, how many inhabitants it had, the importance of the San Juan river, the old volcano now called cerro gordo, the city's neighbourhoods and how the city of the gods was built.
We will visit the Teotihuacan site museum designed by Pedro Ramírez Vázquez, the same architect who designed the Museum of Anthropology and History. Here we will learn about the history of Teotihuacan, who were the first inhabitants, who lived in the city, their workshops, the importance of obsidian, their masterpiece, the pigments they used, their tools, their system of burials and sacrifices and their Gods
Finally we will visit the palace of quetzalpapalotl, our accredited guide will show you images of what Teotihuacan would have looked like in ancient times, who may have inspired the worship of Quetzalcoatl the feathered serpent and we will visit the courtyard of the pillars.
