It’s an important stop for both trekkers and local pilgrims. The area offers a chance to rest, explore the small markets selling refreshments and traditional items, and take in the spirituality of this unique location, nestled amid the dramatic mountain scenery.

Located at 3,207 meters (10,522 feet), the Toubkal Refuge is the primary base camp for trekkers ascending Mount Toubkal. It’s a popular resting point, offering basic accommodation with dormitory-style rooms, showers, and meals. Surrounded by breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains, the refuge provides a cozy atmosphere where climbers can relax, acclimatize, and prepare for their early morning summit push.
