This will be our first stop and it’s the furthest out from our itinerary about 2.5 hours drive from zurich. Strasbourg – A captivating blend of French and German influences, Strasbourg is home to a breathtaking Gothic cathedral, picturesque canals in La Petite France, and a rich cultural scene. As the seat of the European Parliament, it merges history with modernity, offering vibrant markets, Alsatian cuisine, and a festive Christmas atmosphere.
This is our second stop where we have the possibility for lunch and wine tastings. Riquewihr – Nestled among rolling vineyards, Riquewihr is a jewel of Alsace, frozen in time with its perfectly preserved 16th-century architecture. This tiny walled village, often cited as one of the most beautiful in France, exudes romance and charm, especially during the Christmas season, when it becomes a dazzling winter wonderland.
Our third stop, Here we will explore the village of Colmar also known as la petit Venice or little Venice. Colmar – A fairy-tale town straight out of a storybook, Colmar enchants with its colorful half-timbered houses, winding cobbled streets, and serene canals in “Little Venice.” Renowned for its world-class wines and medieval charm, it’s a dream destination for art, history, and gastronomy lovers alike.
