We are Snowride Lapland, a premium snowmobile company in Rovaniemi offering tours in English, Spanish and French.
What sets us apart is that we are the only company in Rovaniemi offering heated sledges for children under 1.35 meters, equipped with seat belts and safely pulled by our guides, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience.
We operate some of the newest snowmobiles on the market, providing a smoother, safer and more reliable ride.
Tours are limited to a maximum of 8 guests per group, allowing us to provide highly personalized service and exceptional attention. For groups larger than 8, we automatically provide a private tour at no extra cost.
All our guides have several years of experience leading snowmobile tours in Lapland, guaranteeing a safe, professional, and high-quality experience from start to finish. We carefully select our guides to ensure top-quality service, unlike many operators who may use inexperienced staff.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We will pick you up directly from your accommodation if it is within a 17 km radius of the city center. Please wait at the main entrance, our guide will come to meet you.
After your booking is confirmed, we will contact you 24–48 hours before the tour to provide your exact pickup time. Please note that pickups usually take place between 30 and 10 minutes before your selected time slot.
Kindly make sure to be ready on time to ensure a smooth departure for all guests :)
The office is located in Kansankatu 2, you will recognise it from the big logo of snowmobile on our window. The building is on the opposite site of the road of the theater of Rovaniemi.
What to expect
The activity begins with pick-up at your accommodation, followed by a visit to our office to gear up with helmets and equipment. Next, we’ll drive to the snowmobile base, where our guides will teach you how to operate your snowmobile, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and ready.
Then, we’ll embark on an exciting 1-hour and 10-minute journey through the breathtaking snowy forests of the Arctic Circle. Along the way, we’ll pause at scenic spots for unforgettable photos. After the activity, we’ll return to the office to change, and we’re happy to drive you back to your accommodation.
For younger guests under 1.35 meters, we provide a cozy, heated sleigh behind the guide. We specialize in small group activity to ensure a high-quality, personalized experience for all our guests.
The price is for twin driving which means 2 people per snowmobile, on the half way we will change drivers in case all the participants wants to ride the snowmobile :)

- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
