What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We will pick you up in the morning from your hotel in Moshi, Arusha or upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro/Arusha airports. at the airports we will be holding a printed paper of your name on it. Karibu!
Our guide will meet you at the Moshi Bus Station or another central location arranged during booking. The guide will be wearing a Zulu Tanzania Safari t-shirt and will call out your name.
What to expect
After arriving, meet your local guide and enjoy a guided walk through the village, passing banana plantations and coffee farms while learning about the Chagga culture and way of life.
Next, take a gentle hike through lush tropical forest to reach the stunning Materuni Waterfalls. Spend time relaxing at the falls, taking photos, or enjoying a refreshing swim in the natural pool.
After the hike, return to the village for a hands-on coffee experience. You’ll learn how coffee is traditionally made—from roasting to grinding—and prepare your own fresh cup while enjoying local songs and interaction with the community.
End your day with a delicious local lunch before returning to your hotel in Moshi by car or tuk-tuk.
