A private driver will pick you up directly from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. During the scenic drive south, you can relax and admire the landscapes of Campania.
Upon arrival, you will be accompanied DA an expert Archaeological Guide to discover the city buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.C. Walk through the perfectly preserved ruins of temples, houses, theaters and cobbled streets, immersing yourself in the daily life of ancient Rome. The visit takes about 2 hours.
After a lunch break in a typical restaurant you will continue to the Vesuvius National Park. Here you can climb to the crater rim (on foot, about 20 - 30 minutes) and take a DA closer look at one of the most famous active volcanoes in the world. A Volcanological Guide will be available to explain the geological phenomena and history of eruptions.
After an exciting day, your driver will drop you off in Rome, arriving in the early evening.

    In Pompeii travelers will visit an ancient Roman city near modern Naples. Pompeii, along with Herculaneum and many nearby villas was buried under 4 - 6 m (13 - 20 ft) of volcanic ash and pumice in the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.C. the inhabitants were also buried before they could escape. The cost of the ticket to visit the excavations is included in the price and a Local Guide for groups ranging DA 10 to 30 people is also included. Customers if they want can visit Pompeii also with an Audio Guide and a map in this case will be independent. The duration of the tour in Pompeii is 2 hours. The driver will be at their disposal for any need.

    Vesuvius National Park

    Symbol of the city of Naples, Vesuvius is a mysterious but at the same time suggestive volcano that presents itself as one of the must-see DA stops during a trip to southern Italy. Customers will be picked up at their hotel with a driver who speaks perfect English. The driver will take them to Vesuvius (up to 1000 meters above sea level). Customers together with the driver will get into a taxi that will take them to the entrance. Visitors will admire the views that will become more and more beautiful as they approach the crater. The driver will wait for visitors at the meeting point and then leave to arrive in Rome.
