You will start your day by visiting a dairy farm to learn something new about the production processes of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, from cows to wheels. The visit will be held directly by the producer's staff, so none of your questions will remain unanswered. The tour is followed by a guided tasting. Our second stop is a small farm where the family produces Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena for generations. They will show the production process and explain all the peculiarities of the Balsamic Vinegar, and why it is so highly appreciated even in haute cuisine. Taste different ages of locally produced balsamic vinegar at the end. Being in the area, your experience wouldn't be complete without visiting Ferrari Museum in Maranello, so to see the most famous supercar brand of all time, Ferrari, and to learn something new about its history during your free visit to the museum. At the end of the day, the driver will take you back to Bologna.

When select an option "Pick up from a Meeting Point", pickup will be from NH De La Gare hotel, Piazza XX Settembre at 08:50am. No pickup from hotel is included, you'll need to reach the meeting point on your own. Please be on time, the van leaves at 08:55 am, and will not wait for late comers.

Pickup from your location in Bologna city center or from a meeting point in Bologna city center, P.za XX Settembre, the square in front of NH De La Gare hotel, just a 5-minute walk from Bologna central train station. The van leaves at 08:55 am, and will not wait for late comers. If you arrive late to the meeting point because of train or other transportation delays, we won’t be able to accommodate you, to send a refund or to reschedule the tour to another day. We kindly suggest planning extra time for your journey to avoid any issues.

DAIRY FARM / First stop is a dairy farm, where Parmigiano Reggiano cheese is being produced. You will see all the stages of the production process of this certified bio farm, see the animals, and will have a guided tasting of different ages of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, as well as freshly made ricotta.

3Modena
BALSAMIC VINEGAR / Afterward, we will proceed with a guided visit to a traditional producer of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. You will learn everything about how this "black gold" is produced, see the barrels, and sample different ages of vinegar during a guided tasting.

4Museo Ferrari
At the end of the tour, you will have one hour to visit the Ferrari Museum in Maranello using the skip-the-line tickets we provide.
