Your food experience also includes a light lunch featuring local products, before changing pace and heading to Maranello, the heart of Ferrari country.

Pickup details:

The pickup will be from your hotel in Bologna city center or the nearest point, when it is not possible to reach the place you stay in by car. The exact pickup time will be communicated after the tour confirmation.
Please note that if you arrive by train, please contact us before booking your train, as we could advise on the best suitable arrival time. It could take 15 to 20 minutes to exit the underground train station where most of the high speed trains arrive.
It means that you should arrive in Bologna no later than 08:30 am for the pickup at 08:50 am.
We are unable to accommodate late arrivals. No refunds will be possible in such instances.
When you select option "Pickup from meeting point", pickup will be from piazza XX Settembre in Bologna, no pickup from hotel is included in this option.

Pickup from the main entrance of NH Bologna De La Gare Hotel, located in Piazza XX Settembre, just a 5-minute walk from Bologna Centrale train station. No pickup from hotel is included in the option. You'll need to reach the meeting point on your own.

    Meet your driver in Bologna and leave the city behind as you travel into the countryside of Emilia-Romagna, an area internationally known for both its gastronomic heritage and automotive excellence.

    Visit a working dairy and discover the production process behind one of Italy's most famous cheeses. Follow the different stages of production, from fresh milk to the impressive aging room filled with wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano. The producer's team will explain the traditional techniques and strict rules that make this PDO cheese unique. The visit concludes with a tasting of Parmigiano Reggiano.

    Continue into the Modena countryside for a visit to a traditional acetaia. Discover how Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO is produced and why its aging process can take many years. See the wooden barrels where the vinegar slowly develops its characteristic flavors and aromas, followed by a tasting. A light lunch/food tasting featuring local specialties is also included. Please note that this is not a traditional full-course restaurant lunch.

    The final experience of the day takes you from Emilia-Romagna's Food Valley to its Motor Valley. This is a self-guided museum visit; no private guide is included inside the museum.
