Pickup Details
Pickup is directly from the Walvis Bay Harbour cruise terminal.
Our team will meet guests outside the port exit at a clearly marked meeting point.
The guide will be holding a Where 2 GO Namibia / Paparazzi Namib Trails & Safaris sign and will be wearing branded clothing for easy identification.
Pickup times are carefully coordinated with your ship’s arrival and departure schedule to ensure a relaxed experience and a timely return to the port.
Guests staying overnight in Walvis Bay or Swakopmund can be collected from their accommodation by prior arrangement.
We kindly ask guests to be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Travelers journey from the coast into the heart of the Namib Desert, passing through the striking Moon Landscape Valley and stopping to observe the ancient Welwitschia plants, some of the oldest living plants on Earth. At Goanikontes Oasis, guests enjoy a relaxed stop in this historic desert settlement, surrounded by rugged desert scenery and palm trees. A light lunch is served, and there is time to use the restroom facilities, stretch legs, and browse small local curios if available. Our accredited guide shares insights into the area’s geology, desert survival, and the history of Goanikontes as a former rest stop for early travelers crossing the Namib.
