Experience an exhilarating adventure to the majestic Kingdom of Lesotho. Departing from Underberg, we will ascend the iconic Sani Pass, climbing from 1,544 to 2,876 meters. You'll get to enjoy some shopping at the local curio shops before immersing yourself in the local culture with a visit to a Basotho home. With expert guidance throughout, this Sani Pass day tour offers rich insights into Lesotho’s history, fauna, and flora.
Kindly Note:
Prior reservations are essential in order to have lunch at the Highest Pub in Africa during the tour. Unfortunately due to the lodges limited capacity entry is granted only to guests that will be eating with them, this also means that the lodge is unfortunately unable to accommodate guests who wish solely to have a drink, use the WIFI, or restrooms.
Alternatively we offer our guests the option of either having lunch at a lovely local Basotho restaurant, or feel free to bring along your own snacks and drinks for in the vehicle while on the tour.

Meeting and pickup
Please note that departure times may vary if you are being picked up from your accommodation, in this case we will contact you directly to confirm your pickup time.
Important: Valid Passports are Essential. No expired passports or copies will be accepted.
Parental consent is required for traveling with children. If only one parent is traveling to another country with a minor, the non-traveling parent listed on the minor’s Passport and Birth Certificate must sign a parental consent affidavit. The same will apply to official guardians.
Kindly note that if you join the tour and are denied entry into Lesotho due to not having the required documentation, visa or valid passport, you will need to wait at the South African Border Post either until the tours returns, or a transfer at your own expense is available. No refund will be provided.
Our day tours typically depart from the Grind Cafe in Underberg. Alternatively though we can pick you up from your accommodation within Underberg or Himeville. If you don’t see your accommodation listed on our pick up list please contact us & we’ll confirm if a complimentary pick up is possible.
