Your guide will be waiting at Spice Bazaar main entrance in Eminönü Square. This will be our meeting point for the tour.
Eminönü Square is one of the most historic and vibrant meeting points of Istanbul, where trade, transportation, and daily life have come together for centuries. Guests will learn about the importance of this lively district and its role as the gateway between the old city and the Bosphorus. The experience continues with information about Spice Bazaar, one of the city’s most famous markets, known for spices, sweets, teas, and Ottoman trade history, followed by a visit to New Mosque, an iconic imperial mosque that has shaped the skyline of Eminönü for centuries. After exploring the area, guests will enjoy a traditional Turkish breakfast with a rich spread of local cheeses, olives, jams, fresh bread, eggs, tea, and seasonal specialties.
After breakfast, we walk to Eminönü Ferry Terminal and board the public ferry to cross the Bosphorus to the Asian side of Istanbul. During the scenic journey, guests can enjoy beautiful views of the city skyline, mosques, palaces, and daily life along the waterfront.
After arriving on the Asian side by ferry, we explore Kadıköy with our guide, discovering the history, culture, and lively atmosphere of one of Istanbul’s most authentic districts. During the walk, guests will have the chance to taste beloved local specialties such as kokoreç, stuffed mussels, İskender kebab, and other traditional Turkish flavors.
Our final stop is Şekerci Cafer Erol, where guests will enjoy delicious traditional baklava and a cup of authentic Turkish coffee. After this sweet ending to the tour, we return to the ferry terminal.
