Most of the caves and niches in the Beishan stone carvings are small, but they are cleverly laid out, with compactly arranged statues and exquisite carvings. They are like miniature works of art and are worth careful appreciation.

The statues on Baoding Mountain are large in scale and majestic, such as the 7.7-meter-high Thousand-Armed Guanyin statue in the Thousand-Armed Guanyin Hall (with thousands of hands, finely carved, and magnificent), the Reclining Buddha (31 meters long, with a peaceful posture), etc.
