Discover two very different sides of Yucatan in one experience: the monumental legacy of Chichen Itza and the natural, cultural atmosphere of Chichikan Ecopark.
Begin among the temples and ceremonial spaces of Chichen Itza, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. See landmarks such as the Temple of Kukulkan and the Great Ball Court while learning about the beliefs, rituals, and stories that shaped one of the most important cities of the ancient Maya.
Then trade stone monuments for a more immersive cultural setting at Chichikan. Walk through a traditional Maya village environment before cooling off in the clear waters of a cenote historically connected with spiritual practices.
Complete the day with a Yucatecan buffet featuring regional flavors and traditional dishes—a fitting finish to an experience combining archaeology, culture, nature, and local cuisine.

Start the day in the historic center of Valladolid, where the group meets at 7:00 AM to complete check-in and prepare for departure. At approximately 7:30 AM, board a comfortable panoramic van and leave Valladolid behind for the morning journey toward Chichen Itza.
Enter one of the most celebrated archaeological cities of the Maya world and spend the next part of the experience discovering the stories hidden within its temples, plazas, and ceremonial spaces. At the Temple of Kukulkan, learn how Maya architecture and astronomy come together in the famous serpent-shaped play of light and shadow associated with the equinox. Continue toward the Great Ball Court and discover why this enormous ceremonial space represented far more than competition, with traditions closely connected to Maya beliefs, rituals, and society. Throughout the visit, the ancient city becomes the setting for a closer look at the gods, symbolism, ceremonies, architecture, and knowledge that shaped Chichen Itza and helped make it one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
Exchange monumental ruins for a completely different side of Yucatan at Chichikan Ecopark. Explore a traditional Maya village setting and become acquainted with cultural traditions that remain connected to the region's heritage. Then, cool off with a swim in the clear waters of the Chichikan cenote, a natural formation historically associated with spiritual significance for the Maya. After swimming, sit down for a Yucatecan buffet featuring regional dishes and flavors, adding a culinary element to the cultural and natural experience. Remember to bring your swimsuit if you plan to enter the cenote.
After completing the visit to Chichikan, board the transportation once again for the return journey to Valladolid. The excursion finishes at the same original departure point, bringing together archaeology, Maya culture, a cenote swim, and regional cuisine in a single route through Yucatan.
