Pilot Beach where there is a viewing platform to appreciate the harbour entrance, seals on the rocks, and walk to Taiora Head where you will hve excellent photos opportunities for pacific ocean and cliffs, hopefully you would have a chance to see the Albatross flying over the cliff.
