Kotoku-in is home to the Great Buddha of Kamakura, one of Japan's most famous statues. This massive bronze Buddha stands at 13.35 meters tall and has survived natural disasters since the 13th century. This statue is unique because you can actually go inside it to see its internal structure. It symbolizes serenity and provides a great place to reflect while walking around the grounds. Please note that you can only see this option if you choose the correct option
Arrive at Oshino Hakkai, a village known for its clear spring water and scenic beauty. This is the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely lunch. You’ll have time to explore your own the area and have lunch, and taste traditional Japanese cuisine. After lunch, leave Oshino Hakkai and head towards the base of Mount Fuji. You will have one hour time in Oshino Hakkai and one hour time will be the ride by bus
You’ll head to Lake Ashi, a volcanic lake formed thousands of years ago, surrounded by mountains and forests. Relax and enjoy a cruise (10 minutes) on Lake Ashi, with breathtaking views of Mount Fuji in the distance and the famous red torii gate of Hakone Shrine floating on the lake.
