Begin your workshop by meeting your instructor and learning about the cultural background of origami and washi paper. Hear about why these materials have been valued in Japan for centuries.
Next, select your favorite washi paper patterns and learn how to fold them into classic origami shapes, such as cranes or geometric designs. Step by step, the instructor will guide you through the process at a relaxed pace.
After folding, assemble your origami into your chosen item: pierced earrings, clip-on earrings, a necklace, or a key holder. All materials and tools are provided.
Leave with your own origami creation and a deeper appreciation of Japanese craftsmanship, creativity, and design.
The workshop will be held in the same room as the Chopstick Workshop Studio on the 2nd Floor.
