What to expect

Start in Christchurch, where you’ll begin your bespoke tour filled with views of untouched Cantabrian landscapes.

Arriving at the majestic Rakaia River Gorge you meet Discovery Jet Operations and start your 45mins jet boat ride.

You will travel out through the center of the Rakaia Gorge, up through braided channels, through a good boulder field of rapids, to ever changing high country landscape.

With incredible photo opportunities looking out to Mt Hutt and up to the Southern Alps

Before or after your ride, we can visit Methven stop in at Opuke Hot Pools as an extra.
