What to expect

Soba – A Delicious Japanese Superfood

Soba (buckwheat noodles) is a traditional Japanese dish packed with high-quality protein, vitamins, minerals, dietary fiber, and rutin—a type of polyphenol. It’s a well-balanced superfood that’s as healthy as it is delicious.

In this special experience, you’ll learn the traditional art of making soba from scratch—kneading, rolling, cutting, and cooking your own noodles under the guidance of a skilled instructor. Even first-timers can enjoy it with confidence.

Freshly boiled soba can be enjoyed in many ways—served chilled zaru-style with a touch of salt or dashi for a refreshing taste, or as hot kake-soba in a light broth for a more delicate flavor.

Soba-making is a rare hands-on experience, even in Japan. Join us in Kyoto and enjoy a cool and refreshing culinary adventure this summer.
