What to expect

Light sailing is the basis of sailing. Therefore, it is ideal for both children and adults starting out in this exciting world. Unlike large boats, light sailboats respond quickly, allowing a better understanding of wind, sails and manoeuvres.

During the light sailing course, you will learn to ride the boat, adjust the sails, govern the rudder and make decisions based on the wind. In addition, you will practice basic maneuvers such as curling and slewing. Although you will start with a brief theoretical part, most of the course is in the water.

You will always be accompanied by a titled monitor, which will guide you step by step. If you already have prior knowledge, you can also refine specific techniques. In addition, you will adapt the pace of learning to your level, as the courses are customized.
