    San Gervasio Mayan Archaeological Site

After experiencing the ancestral magic of the Corn Town, we will continue our journey to the past visiting the Archaeological Zone of San Gervasio, the most important Mayan site in Cozumel. Surrounded by the rainforest, this sacred place was dedicated to Ixchel, the Mayan goddess of love, fertility and the moon. For centuries, Mayan women crossed from land to this island to pay tribute and ask for their blessing. As you walk the temples, altars and stone paths, your guide will share the fascinating stories of this civilization and its deep spiritual connection to nature. Each structure holds centuries of wisdom and energy, turning San Gervasio into a place full of mysticism and peace. This stop perfectly complements the cultural experience begun in the Corn Town, offering you a more complete view of the Mayan legacy: from its living traditions to the vestiges of its glorious past.
