This private day tour begins with an 8:00 AM pick-up from your hotel in Almaty. After a scenic 2.5-hour drive, you will explore Charyn Canyon, including a walk through the Valley of Castles, a descent to the canyon floor, a safari vehicle ride, and free time for photos (about 2 hours total).

Next, you will travel 30 minutes to Bartogay Reservoir, where you will enjoy panoramic mountain views, a relaxing walk along the water, and photo opportunities (about 1 hour).

In the afternoon, you will return to Almaty, arriving at your hotel around 5:30–5:35 PM.

    08:00 — Departure from Almaty. Morning pick-up from your hotel or specified address. Comfortable transfer by jeep. Drive to Charyn Canyon takes approximately 2.5 hours, with scenic steppe and mountain views along the way. 10:30 — Arrival at Charyn Canyon Descent into the canyon. Walk through the famous Valley of Castles. Safari vehicle ride along the canyon floor. Free time for walking and photos. Total time at the canyon: approximately 2 hours. Charyn Canyon is often called the “little brother of the Grand Canyon” due to its impressive red rock formations.

    13:00 — Transfer to Bartogay Reservoir. The drive takes approximately 30 minutes. 13:30 — Walk at Bartogay Reservoir. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and wide-open landscapes. Leisurely walk along the water. Free time for photos with the mountains and reservoir as a backdrop. Total time at Bartogay: approximately 1 hour. Bartogay is a scenic location known for its beautiful mountain views and expansive reservoir.
