We will pick up guests at hotels/stays around Hanoi Old Quarter Area, our guide will come to your hotel lobby and check your name at receptionist so please ready everything at your lobby.
Morning: Pick up guests from Hanoi Old Quarter hotels between 7:15 AM – 7:30 AM, then transfer to Quang Phu Cau Incense Village (around 1.5 hours).
Visit Quang Phu Cau Incense Village and admire the colorful incense fields while learning about traditional incense-making in Vietnamese culture. In case of rain, the tour will visit Bat Trang Pottery Village instead, where guests can explore ceramic craftsmanship and join a pottery-making workshop.
Arrive at Train Street before 11:30 AM to capture photos and videos as the train passes by Hanoi Railway Station. Enjoy lunch at a local place nearby. For the morning half-day tour, the guide will say goodbye after returning you to your hotel.
After lunch, visit Hoa Lo Prison, a historic site once used by French colonists for political prisoners and later by North Vietnam during the Vietnam War, famously known as the “Hanoi Hilton” by American POWs.
Visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university, and discover its rich history, Confucian traditions, Khue Van Pavilion, and the famous Doctor Stelae placed on stone turtles.
Continue to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside visit) and Ba Dinh Square, the historic site where President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnam’s Independence on September 2nd, 1945.
Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hanoi’s oldest pagoda located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake, with a history of around 1,400 years. End the tour by enjoying Hanoi’s famous egg coffee, a unique local specialty.
5:30 PM: Drop off guests at their hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter area or the meeting point. End of tour.
