What to expect

Never crafted with Lac before? Perfect! Bring your curiosity and a desire to explore a centuries-old craft. I will guide you through every step of the process—from understanding the rich history of Lac to creating your very own handmade Lac product.

In this 2-hour hands-on session, you’ll learn about the 5 traditional steps of Lac crafting: Melting, Pressing, Rang Chaapna (adding colors), Shaping, and Sizing. Under the guidance of an expert artisan, you’ll experience each step and create a vibrant Lac product, such as a bangle, keychain, or small jewelry piece, to take home.

After the session, you’ll leave with more than just a handcrafted piece—you’ll have a deeper connection to this incredible cultural tradition and memories of a truly unique experience.
