Pick up from Hotels and Apartments (Main Lobby): Meeting Point: Our driver will wait for you in the main lobby of your hotel or at the designated entrance of your apartment/accommodation. Identification: You will be clearly identified and our guide/driver will wear a company t-shirt or badge. Pickup Time: The exact time of your pickup will be reconfirmed 24 hours in advance of the day of the tour via message or email. Please be punctual and wait 10-15 minutes before the scheduled time to facilitate the departure of all participants. Pickup for Cruise Passengers: We serve visitors arriving at the two main cruise ports of Puerto Plata: a) Puerto Taino Bay (Puerto Plata Center): Location: This port is conveniently located very close to the center of Puerto Plata (just 5-10 minutes by car from the central area and about 20-30 minutes away from some more remote hotel areas). Some city tours can even be started on foot if the excursion is exclusively central. Specific Meeting Point: For your convenience, we will wait for you just outside the cruise terminal, in the area designated for tour operators/taxis. with a sign with our logo and your name. Considerations: Travel time from Taino Bay to tour starting points varies, but for city tours, it is very short. For tours to Sosúa or the Blue Lagoon, the journey will be longer (see Amber Cove for similar estimates). b) Amber Cove (Maimón): Location: Amber Cove is located in Maimón Bay, about 15-25 minutes by car from the center of Puerto Plata and about 30-40 minutes from Sosúa. Specific Meeting Point: We will wait for you outside the cruise terminal, in the area designated for tour operators/taxis. Search your name for easy identification. Considerations: Due to the distance from Amber Cove to downtown Puerto Plata (and further to Sosúa), it is crucial to take travel times into account when planning your tour schedule. For example: To Puerto Plata center: Approximately 15-25 minutes. To Sosúa: Approximately 30-40 minutes. To Blue Lagoon (near Gaspar Hernández/Río San Juan): The drive will be longer, approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes from Amber Cove.
