As you hike, you'll be immersed in a landscape where ancient pines cling to the rock faces, and the silence is broken only by the gentle rush of the Korouoma River. Winter transforms this canyon into an icy wonderland, perfect for ice climbing or simply marveling at the frozen waterfalls. Whether you're here in the crisp air of winter or the vibrant light of summer, Korouoma offers a peaceful retreat into nature's most untouched corners.

Korouoma Canyon, located in Posio, Finland, is a breathtaking natural wonder and a must-visit destination for nature lovers, photographers, and adventurers. Approximately a 1.5-hour drive from Rovaniemi, this stunning canyon transforms into a winter wonderland during the colder months, featuring spectacular frozen waterfalls that draw visitors from around the globe. Hike lasts approximately 3 hours and after that we will offer you warm drinks and light refreshments. Then we will head back to Rovaniemi. Trip does include photography with good camera.
