On this culinary walking tour, you will discover and taste dishes made primarily with fresh fish and seafood, some of the most representative flavors of the Mexican Pacific flavors that over time have become deeply rooted in Sayulita as an essential part of its gastronomic identity.

At each stop, you will learn about the origin of the ingredients, traditional recipes, and the cultural importance these dishes hold for Sayulita and the region.

The tour takes place at local food stands and restaurants, most of them run by families originally from Sayulita, who have preserved these flavors from generation to generation and remain a living part of the town’s history.

At our first stop, syart with a refreshing agua fresca made from fresh local fruit in Raspados y Aguas frescas Sayulita. Then, you will head to Mariscos Purillo’s, a traditional family owned spot where you’ll taste three coastal appetizers. Then, enjoy a traditional local drink before heading to El Rinconcito, known for its long standing recipes, where a homemade regional starter awaits. Continue to Emiliano’s Restaurant for two main dishes that showcase Sayulita’s culinary heritage. Next, visit Naty’s Restaurant, another local classic, for the second part of your main course, a longtime community favorite. End your tour at the iconic Chocobanana Restaurant with a homemade dessert full of sweetness and nostalgia, and raise your glass with a traditional sweet drink to finish your journey.
