The route starts at the medieval Amsterdamse Poort, follows the Spaarne past the Gravestenenbrug and the Teylers Museum, crosses the Grote Markt with its Stadhuis, Vleeshal and Gothic Sint-Bavokerk, and finishes at the windmill Molen De Adriaan.
