This experience is all about genuine connection—not competition or speed. With only four sleds per group, it stays intimate and authentic. There’s no rushing in lines or treating the huskies like props for photos. Instead, you'll have the chance to talk with the dog handlers, learn how the dogs are trained, and see why they thrive with their own mushers. Yes, you’ll get to drive your own sled, but you’ll also warm up with a hot drink inside a cozy cabin and share stories about northern life. It’s not a staged fantasy—it’s the real pace of a husky morning in Lapland.

What to expect
Scenic 45 minutes drive to the Husky Farm at Pyhäjärvi - Enjoy a peaceful journey through snowy landscapes.
Intro to Sledding - Split into two groups: one heads out for a short lesson and a 5 km sled ride (approx. 15 minutes), while the other relaxes inside and listen info about Huskies, sip hot berry juice or coffee, nibble on gingerbread and chocolate and chat with our guides about huskies, Lapland, and life in the north.
Switch Groups & Meet the Huskies - Each group gets its turn on the trail and in warm cottage. Afterward, everyone meets the dogs—pet, photograph and get to know the personalities behind the sled.
Return Transfer to the meeting point - Hop back in the van and enjoy a relaxing drive to Kemijärvi center.
