Bwindi Gorillas. The Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is inhabited by a population of about 459 individual mountain gorillas (Gorilla beringei beringei), known as the Bwindi population, which makes up almost half of all the mountain gorillas in the world.
Uganda is the country in Africa which has many gorilla individuals compared to Rwanda and Congo. Mountain gorillas in Uganda are found in two national parks Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
The overall best time of the year to travel to Bwindi to locate mountain gorillas is during the dry season/months; June to September, December to February.

    Arriving in Kigali/Rwanda, you will meet our driver guide who will transfer you to Uganda via Katuna border. On your way, you will be enjoying the beautiful landscape and understand the reason why Rwanda is called a country of thousand hills. You will enjoy your enroute lunch and on your arrival to Bwindi NP, you will check-in to your lodge before you go for Batwa cultural village and learn more about their life experience that includes their daily living activities, it's amazing! Later on you will go back to your lodge for Dinner and overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge.

    Mabamba Swamp Shoebill Watching Entebbe

    After having your early breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters for legal formalities and briefing. Afterward, you will enter the jungle, and you will be challenged a bit with a thick vegetation as per the name of this forest. The adventure will take between 2-7 hours and you will only have one hour with the Mountain Gorillas once sited. Afterward, you will driven to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the beautiful places in Uganda, the second deepest lake in Africa, safe to swim and have fun. Dinner and overnight at Hawk's Eye.

    Transfer back to Kigali from Lake Bunyonyi

    On this day, you will start by having your breakfast before you go for an amazing boat cruise and visit different islands within the lake. You will also be making some hikes to have a scenic view points and take some memorable pictures. After this boat ride, you will be transferred back to Kigali with the enroute lunch. Based on the time you will reach Kigali, we will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Site and have a short Kigali city tour
