  The Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano is the cathedral of Rome and the oldest of the four papal basilicas.   The Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, located along the Via Ostiense in Rome, is one of the four papal basilicas and stands on the site where the Apostle Paul was buried.
