For Airport pickup, our driver will be waiting by the Airport exit point, Holding placards written full names of the expected Guests. For all hotel pickups, we communicate directly with Hotel Front Desk employees and therefore we advise all guests to be seated by the Hotel Front Desk.
Upon arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport, you are received by our staff and immediately transferred to Hwange National Park in closed 4*4, air-conditioned vehicles. The journey from the Airport to Hwange National Park covers approximately 170KM passing through the national park and local villages. You are therefore allowed to interact with wildlife and villagers along the way. On arrival at Hwange Safari Lodge, you are immediately checked in.
This thrilling adventure takes guests deep into Zimbabwe’s largest and most celebrated wildlife reserve — Hwange National Park. At 08:00, guests are picked up from the hotel and transferred to the park for a full-day game drive. Spanning approximately 14,600 square kilometers (5,640 square miles), Hwange is a vast wilderness teeming with life and stunning natural beauty. Guests enjoy a scenic picnic lunch in the heart of the park before continuing the safari, spotting the Big Five and countless other species. The game drive concludes around 16:00, followed by a return transfer to the hotel, leaving travelers with unforgettable memories of this untamed African paradise.
At 10:00 am, you'll transfer to Victoria Falls and check in at the Rainbow Hotel upon arrival. At 4:00 pm, enjoy a two-hour afternoon boat cruise on the Zambezi River, ending at sunset, offering a perfect blend of relaxation, stunning scenery, and wildlife spotting along one of Africa’s most iconic rivers. After the cruise, you'll return to the hotel before heading out at 7:00 pm for the Dinner and Drum Show at The Boma, an immersive cultural experience featuring traditional African cuisine, lively drumming, and interactive entertainment that lets you become part of the celebration. The evening concludes with a transfer back to the hotel at 09:30 pm.
At 10:00 am, you are picked up for a two-hour guided tour of Victoria Falls, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world, renowned not only for its grandeur but also for the immersive sensory experience of crashing water and drifting mist. To cap the day, you have the option to see the falls a second time from the air with the Helicopter Flight of Angels, a thrilling adventure offering a bird’s-eye view of the mighty falls as a powerful sheet of water thunders into the gorge below. After the tour, you are transferred back to your hotel.
Chobe National Park, located in northern Botswana, is one of Africa’s most diverse and ecologically rich wildlife reserves, renowned for its dense animal populations and exceptional biodiversity. A crown jewel of Botswana’s conservation efforts and a top safari destination, it offers unparalleled opportunities to observe a wide range of species in their natural habitats. Guests will enjoy two days of extensive game drives and a boat cruise along the Chobe River, with a buffet lunch at Mowana River Lodge, followed by overnight accommodation at Travelodge.
For the second time, guests are afforded yet another opportunity to tour Chobe National Park. On this second day, guests will partake on the early morning game drive (6am) and the sunset boat cruise.
Immediately after breakfast, clients check out of Travelodge and begin the journey to Elephant Sands, a distance of approximately 250 kilometers (155 miles) that typically takes 3.5 to 4 hours, depending on road conditions and stops along the way. Arrival is expected around lunchtime, after which guests enjoy a delicious meal before heading out for an afternoon game drive that concludes at sunset. The evening at Elephant Sands is a truly unforgettable experience, with elephants gathering at the waterhole while guests relax around an open fire, enjoying the magical spectacle of these majestic animals in their natural habitat.
After breakfast, clients check out from Elephant Sands and begin the scenic journey to Maun, covering approximately 350 kilometers (217 miles) with an estimated travel time of around 5 hours by car. The route passes through national park areas and rural villages, offering guests opportunities to spot wildlife, including ostriches, and interact with local communities along the way. Upon arrival, guests are checked in at Sedia Riverside Hotel for overnight accommodation.
On the ninth day, guests have the opportunity to explore the Okavango Delta, a vast wetland in Botswana where the Okavango River fans out into the Kalahari Desert. Renowned for its stunning landscapes and rich wildlife, the delta offers unforgettable safari experiences, including a traditional mokoro boat ride—a narrow, canoe-like vessel expertly poled through the calm, winding waterways. Gliding silently among the reeds and islands, guests can spot elephants wading, hippos surfacing, and a multitude of bird species in their natural habitat. This serene journey is complemented by an exhilarating walking safari, allowing guests to connect with the delta’s unique ecosystem up close while observing wildlife on foot.
Day 10: Today offers a chance to reflect on and relive the highlights of the past nine days. Guests may also choose to participate in optional activities of their choice. Depending on flight schedules, transfers to the airport will be arranged for your final departure.
