The world's highest monument is the Statue of Unity. It is nearly twice as tall as the Statue of Liberty in the United States of America, standing at 182 meters. This renowned monument took three and a half years to create, involving 300 engineers and 3000 workers. The Statue of Unity, which was designed by the renowned artist Ram V. Sutar, was constructed using 1,700 metric tons of bronze, 70,000 tons of cement, 18,500 tons of reinforcement steel, and 6,000 tons of structural steel. The 30 second ride leads to a panoramic views of the Sardar Sarovar Dam, its reservoir, the Satpura and Vindhya mountains.
Along the Narmada River, the Valley of Flowers is a 24-acre sanctuary for vibrant floral plants. There are almost 22,000 plants, making it a riot of color. In addition to trees, shrubs, herbs, climbers, creepers, and a variety of foliage tints, the valley is home to a variety of attractive flowers.
The third-highest concrete dam in India, the Sardar Sarovar Dam, stands 163 meters tall and offers a breathtaking view of the Vindhya and Sathpura mountain ranges in addition to the reservoir.
