The area is mountainous, adorned with greenery covering its majestic peaks. It is connected by a dual carriageway leading to Makkah, stretching 87 kilometers through the Kurrat Mountain Road. The area is renowned for its winter tourism appeal, thanks to its beautiful weather and the fragrant mist that falls like pearl-like hailstones adorning its landscape.
