Nestled in the forested slopes of the Tsaghkunyats Mountains, Tsaghkadzor is Armenia’s most popular mountain resort, loved for its fresh air, alpine scenery, and year-round activities. In winter it is the country’s main ski center, while in summer it attracts visitors with cool weather, green landscapes, and peaceful walks. At the heart of Tsaghkadzor lies the historic Kecharis Monastery, a beautiful medieval complex dating back to the 11th–13th centuries.
