    Day 1

    Flight from Kathmandu (1400m) to Lukla (2840m) and trek to Phakding (2610m)

    Lukla

    You will get transferred to the domestic terminal of the Kathmandu Domestic Airport to catch your scheduled morning flight to Lukla. Lukla is the starting point of 12 Days Everest Base Camp Trekking. After 30 minutes scenic flight above the breathtaking green and white Himalayas, you will land at the Tenzing-Hillary Airport at Lukla.

    Phakding

    Then you will meet your trekking Guide and start Trekking. After a few hours of walking, you will reach Phakding. You will only have a short hike today to assist with the proper acclimatization. However, if you are interested, you can also take a side trip to a nearby monastery.

    Trek from Phakding (2610m) to Namche Bazaar (3440m)

    Namche Bazaar

    This is the second day of your Everest Base Camp 12 Days Trek. Today, you will walk through a beautiful forest of pine. The walk will lead you along the bank of the Dudh Koshi River through many suspension bridges. Hillary Suspension Bridge is one of the famous suspension bridges you will be crossing today. En route, you will witness the wonderful views of Mount Thamserku (6618m). You will pass through the settlement of Benkar and Monjo and eventually arrive at the check post and entrance to Sagarmatha National Park. Before reaching Namche, you will also pass through the last village of Jorsale. Our trail further ascends through the forests and bridges until you will reach the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi Rivers. You will get the first sight of Mount Everest over the Lhotse and Nuptse ridges just after a final steep ascent for about two hours. To reach Namche, you will still have to walk for about an hour and a half further.

    Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar (3440m)

    You need to stay active and moving during the rest days instead of being idle. So, you will either spend the day taking a day hike to Thame or visiting Khunde, or relaxing and exploring the Namche Bazaar itself.

    Trek from Namche Bazar (3440m) to Tengboche (3810m)

    Tengboche

    The trek to Tengboche is dusty and winding, but the panoramic views from the monastery make it all worthwhile. There aren't many hard ascents and descents, there's plenty of time to focus on photography. Photographing stupas (Buddhist temples), prayer flags, Mani walls (Walls with Buddhist Prayers Engraved onto Them), mountains like Ama Dablam (6,812 m), and Tengboche Monastery are all worthwhile endeavors.

    Trek from Tengboche (3810m) to Dingboche (4410m)

    Dingboche

    The trek from Tengboche to Dingboche begins with a visit to the region's oldest Buddhist monastery. The trek continues through alpine woods to Upper Pangboche, a big settlement, and then past Shomare, Orsho, and Tsuro Wog villages. While traveling through the Khumbila Khola valley to the ridge top, one may enjoy breathtaking views of the rising mountains of Taboche (6,495m), Mount Thamserku (6,608m), Mount Ama Dablam (6812m), Mount Nuptse (7,861m), Mount Cholatse (6,440m), and Mount Lhotse (8,516m), among others. Dingboche is ultimately reached after continuing up the path past Imja Khola.

    Acclimatization Day in Dingboche (4410m)

    Dingboche

    You will be rewarded with a spectacular view, but you will need to get some rest in order to complete the final leg of your adventure. On this day, you might choose to visit Dingboche and the surrounding villages of Chhukung and Imja or take a rest for the next hike. Short hikes can be done in a variety of ways. Nagarjun Hill (2,128m), and Chhukung Ri (5,546m) are all possible hikes. The top of Nagarjun Hill provides views of Mt. Makalu, Mt. Lobuche, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, and other peaks.

    Trek from Dingboche (4410m) to Lobuche (4910m)

    The trek begins with a climb through the Khumbu Khola valley to Duglha. As you get closer to Dusa, the valley begins to shrink. The route is difficult, with various massive boulders and mountain yaks going by at a high height nearby. Many memorials with praying flags and stones in remembrance of climbers who died on the way to Mt. Everest may also be found. You will then arrive at the path that connects Gokyo Lakes and Cho-La Pass.

    Trek from Lobuche (4910m) to Gorakshep (5140m) then Everest Base Camp (5364m) and back to Gorakshep

    your trail to Gorakshep goes ahead through the side of the Khumbu Glacier. Your path passes through the pyramid signpost. A decent ascent would take you to the Thangma Riju from where you can perceive a 360-degree vista of snowcapped mountains. As you will reach Gorakshep, the surrounding snowcapped mountains, including the top of the world welcome you.

    Everest Base Camp

    From Gorakshep, you will trek to Everest Base Camp. After having the rewarding views of Mount Everest and other mountains around your site, this is our destination for this trek. We will enjoy the most memorable moment at the Base Camp.

    Trek from Gorakshep (5140m) to Kala Patthar (5555m) then Trek down to Pheriche (4240m)

    We will make an early start in the morning to catch the dramatic mountain views from Kalapatthar. Kalapatthar is considered one of the finest viewpoints in the EBC 12 Days Trekking. From Kalapatthar, you can observe the first light of the day shining on the glorious Mount Everest.

    After spending some hours in Kalapatthar, you will descend back to Gorakshep. After having resting sometime, we will gradually descend down to Pheriche where you will stay overnight.

    Trek from Pheriche (4280m) to Namche (3440m)

    Namche Bazaar

    Trek Route will follow the same route back to the terminal moraines at Dughla and following the wide valley of Khumbu Khola, now you will have to pass through the beautiful Sherpa villages of Pheriche, and Orsho along with Shomare. You will then reach Pangboche village where you can explore the oldest monastery in the region which contains what is said to be the scalp and bones of repulsive snowman Yeti. You will leave the mountains behind you and descend through Tengboche Monastery at an elevation of 3860m before you will reach Namche.

    Trek from Namche (3440m) to Phakding (2610m) and then to Lukla (2840m)

    Phakding

    Today's trekking trail has descended steeply downward. Therefore, you will need to walk slowly and under control as your shaky legs continuously battle the rocky terrain. The trail becomes more level and natural after crossing the suspension bridges over the raging Dudh Koshi River.

    You will start to get warmed up by the light breeze by today. Passing through the lovely forests of pine and rhododendrons, you will eventually arrive at Lukla where we stay overnight.

    Flight from Lukla (2840m) to Kathmandu (1400m)

    Today you will fly back to Kathmandu after a long mountain journey. You will catch your morning flight from Lukla and after about 35 minutes, you will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. On reaching Kathmandu, we will drop you back to your hotel or to the airport for your onward journey. Tour end.
