What to expect
This experience allows you to consult with a Chochin lantern craftsman to fully customize your ideal Chochin lantern. The first step is to choose the material, shape, size, color, and design of the lighting portion. You can design it freely. A particularly popular option is to have your name written in kanji using traditional Japanese calligraphy (the craftsman will teach you the kanji).
This Chochin lantern is made to order and will be delivered approximately two months later.
*Regarding design, if you want complex illustrations, an optional processing fee may apply.
The design process included in the price is approximately for 2 colors and 4 simple logo icons.
If you have a clear idea of the design you would like to create, we can also provide an estimate if you send us the data of photos or illustration images in advance.
*Fare is not included in the price.
*Light bulbs and electrical cords are not included.
*If you want a larger Chochin lantern, an additional fee will be charged.
