During the booking process, we collect your name and pick-up location details. If you're being picked up at the airport, our driver will wait for you in the designated waiting zone with a sign displaying your name. If you're being picked up at a hotel, we coordinate with the hotel reception, and the bellmen who handle luggage will be aware of our driver and the pick-up details.
The tour starts in the morning with departure from Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains through the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, there are photo stops overlooking traditional Berber villages and mountain landscapes. The journey continues to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its historical architecture and as a filming location for many international movies. After visiting the kasbah, the route passes through Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Africa,” where an optional visit to the Atlas Film Studios can be arranged. The drive then continues through Skoura Oasis and the Rose Valley before reaching the Dades Valley in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight are arranged in a hotel or traditional riad in Dades Gorge.
After breakfast, the journey continues toward Tinghir and the impressive Todra Gorge, where travelers can enjoy a walk between the towering canyon walls. The drive proceeds through the desert towns of Tinghir and Erfoud, with an optional stop at fossil workshops in Erfoud. In the afternoon, arrival in Merzouga, at the edge of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, where travelers switch to camels or a 4×4 vehicle to cross the dunes. A stop is made to watch the sunset over the Sahara, followed by arrival at the desert camp. Dinner is served under the stars with traditional Berber music and entertainment, and the night is spent in a private desert tent.
Early in the morning, travelers wake up to watch the sunrise over the dunes before returning to Merzouga village by camel or 4×4. After breakfast and a shower, the tour continues to Rissani, a historic trading town known for its traditional market. The route then crosses Alnif and the Anti-Atlas Mountains before reaching the Draa Valley, home to the largest palm grove in Morocco. After lunch along the way or in Ouarzazate, the journey continues back through the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech, with arrival in the evening.
