Standing against a backdrop of rolling hills and set within its own glorious gardens, Crathes Castle provides a memorable experience with its towers, turrets and stories of its resident ghosts. King Robert the Bruce granted the lands of Leys to the Burnett family in 1323: the ancient Horn of Leys, which can be seen today in the Great Hall, marks his gift.

Glen Garioch distillery (pronounced "Geery" in the Doric dialect of Aberdeen) is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It is one of the oldest whisky distilleries in Scotland, dating back to 1797.

    Stroll through the historic walled garden and see the yew hedges from 1702. Tour the 16th-century castle with its turrets, towers, oak panels, and painted ceilings. See the Horn of Leys, gifted to the Burnett family by Robert the Bruce in the 14th century.
