    Nagarkot View Tower is one of the most popular viewpoints near Kathmandu, located on a hilltop at around 2,175 meters (7,136 feet) above sea level. It is particularly famous for sunrise views over the Himalayan range, with clear-weather views that may include peaks such as Mount Everest, Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and Dorje Lakpa. The tower and surrounding viewpoint area offer a peaceful setting to enjoy the changing colours of the sky at dawn and panoramic views across the hills and valleys. It is a popular stop for travellers visiting Nagarkot Sunrise, hiking, photography, and short escapes from Kathmandu. Important: Himalayan visibility and sunrise conditions depend entirely on weather, cloud, haze, and atmospheric conditions. Clear mountain views cannot be guaranteed on every visit.
