• We recommend entry to the British Museum via Montague Place (North entrance) to skip the lines. Entry can also be made from Great Russell Street which is the Main entrance
• Cloakroom charges are as follows: coats £2, bags weighing up to 4kg £2.50, bags between 4-8kg £5, and umbrellas at £1.
• The following items are not allowed: large bags exceeding 8kg in weight, wheeled luggage, folding bicycles, among others. For a complete list of prohibited items, please check the British Museum's website.
