Descending through its narrow and steep streets, you immediately find yourself immersed in an explosion of colors: the pastel-toned houses climb the mountain as in a painting, while the scent of the sea mixes with that of lemon and freshly baked bread. Start your visit from Via dei Mulini, the main street, dotted with artisan boutiques, art galleries and small cafes. A short walk takes you to Spiaggia Grande, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the church of Santa Maria Assunta, with its majolica dome. With an hour and a half in Amalfi, you can discover the essence of this pearl of the Coast. Also worth a visit is the suggestive Cloister of Paradise, an oasis of peace between columns and Moorish arches.
